Tiles and other hard floor coverings have, over the past few years, been enjoying a surge in popularity, mainly due to the fact that they are easy to clean and maintain. But slowly over time, scratches, pits and microscopic pores begin to appear, attracting and trapping dirt and stains in places mops could never hope to reach. Meanwhile, your grout, which was once white and brilliant slowly begins to look dark, dirty and discoloured. So, out comes the scrubbing brush and kneepads which will help, but how is the dirt going to be flushed from the pores and removed completely?
Until recently, this dilemma has challenged everybody with tiles and pavers. Now, thanks to new technology to Australia, we are able to combine carpet cleaning know-how with high pressure cleaning expertise to produce a fast, effective way to clean all hard surfaces. And, because we don’t use brushes or scrubbing, we are able to reach into every pit, scratch and inconsistency in the tiles’ surface.

Grout
Grout is perhaps the most porous surface in most residential and commercial premises. In order to keep grout free from staining it is highly recommended that the grout be sealed within 72 hours of being laid. We use and recommend ‘Aquamix Grout Colourant Sealers’ to protect grout lines with a 15 Year written warranty to back up the product. With the current trend in using lighter grout colours it is even more important to protect the lines as soon as possible. Darker grout lines such as black can also be stained quite easily, with building debris such as in ground plaster dust being very difficult to remove. Spilt drinks, food, and other contaminants once in a grout line can be almost impossible to remove.

To clean grout lines we recommend applying Nice N Clean ‘Neutra’ Stone and Tile Cleaner directly in to the grout lines and let the solution sit for 5 minutes. Then use a grout brush to agitate the grout line and remove the emulsified contaminant with a terry towel. Should the stain remain please contact Nice N Clean before proceeding to a heavy duty cleaning procedure.
